This is my first "album". The majority of songs come from 2007-2008, with a few more recent mixed in.
Whereas my second album dives into complete eco-lectro, Love Up focuses more on the individual rather than the global. I sing about a lover that bores me on "About Your Love" & I battle liars & players on "Honesty", by saying what they don't. I dip into the sci-fi with "Rocket Pack" & return to the dance club in "Commit Me". I touch on the Unseen in "Dreamer" & "Morning Dew".
With dance-driven songs like "Quiver", "Summer Moon", & "Mermaid", I wanted this album to be a fun mix & as it comes before my eco-lectro days, it focuses more on the individual rather than being the ecocentric GET BRAVE!
